SecurityAll transactions effected on www.travelafricamag.com are conducted through a registered third party Payment Service Provider (PSP), using industry standard technology for secure commerce transaction. Data, including your credit card number, is encrypted and other safeguards include fraud, address verification and security code checks.
All transactions are conducted on a secure website hosted and maintained by our third party PSP.
Most banks or credit card providers either cover all charges resulting from unauthorised use of your credit card or limit your liability to a maximum amount. Refer to your credit card agreement to check your coverage for liability. You are also advised to check your coverage for liability for unauthorised use of other cards such as debit cards.
Transaction FailureIf payment is denied by our Payment Service Provider for any reason, you will be made aware of this and payment can be resubmitted.
Order Confirmation and ProcessingYour order will be accepted once your payment has been authorised. We will acknowledge acceptance of the order and process it accordingly.
Unless otherwise stipulated, all orders are usually processed and goods despatched within 10 working days, but allow up to 28 days. If an item is not currently in stock or delivery will be delayed, you will be notified.
In the case of magazine subscriptions, our web pages will inform you of the edition with which your subscription will commence.
Some of the products offered on our website are held in stock by third party suppliers who will supply you directly. Each has their own delivery policy and process by which these orders will be governed, and Travel Africa Ltd cannot be held responsible for any failure by a third party supplier to meet these terms or to supply product in satisfactory condition. However, we will act to ensure orders are processed efficiently and that products meet your expectations.
CurrenciesAll payments are transacted in British pounds sterling. If prices for products or services are quoted in any other currency, these will be converted to British pounds sterling at official exchange rates by your card issuer at the time of purchase.
Returns and RefundsWe strive to provide you with the best possible customer service and products of high quality. If you are not happy with your purchases for whatever reason, please notify us in writing within 7 days of receiving the goods and we will make arrangements to replace or refund your order. (Refer to our customer service department; please see our contact information page). This is in line with EU regulations, under which you are legally entitled to a 7-day cooling off period following a purchase.
Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Any goods that need to be returned to us or the supplier must be returned within 28 days in original condition. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us. The price of the item(s) purchased will be refunded to your credit/debit card once we have received the goods.
If you choose to cancel a magazine subscription during its term, you will be refunded the outstanding portion relevant to the unfulfilled copies owing on the subscription.
CompetitionsFrom time to time we may run competitions, free prize draws or other promotions on this website. These are subject to additional terms that will be published at the time.
Unless stipulated, all entrants to any of our competitions must be at least 18 years of age and proof of age may be required before the prize is dispatched.
For all competitions, winners will be notified within 28 days of the draw taking place.
Competitions are not open to anyone associated with Travel Africa Ltd or the relevant co-promotors.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries which are not properly received due to communications errors beyond our control.
